I have known Katie for a few years now and was so excited when she reached out to book me for her wedding. I was also super excited to hear that she had met someone she was going to spend forever with. Katie and Joe’s wedding day at Wedgewood’s Vellano Estate was absolutely gorgeous and so much fun!

Here’s Katie and Joe’s story about how they met and their planning process for the big day.

How they met- Joe and I met at AMR. I covered a shift for his partner on 02/14/2019 and it’s been nothing but a dream since! It’s crazy how one day can change your whole life. And I’m so happy I worked that one shift!

Their Hobbies and what they like to do for fun- We do a lot, mainly going on last minute adventures! But usually they end in a sushi bar dinners which is always the best part!

The Proposal- We were going on our two year anniversary trip and we’re going to Monterey. I goofed up and accidentally set all our plans for a day earlier than the hotel! So again a last minute adventure got us to Monterey a day early where we did a sporadic two person sunset boat ride along the coast and there he asked me to marry him.

The Wedding Vision- We wanted to keep it classic white wedding with a warm rustic feel. We used our favorite colors as our theme and filled everything else with greenery. It literally looked like it came out of a dream

Our Favorite Parts of the Wedding Day- We argue about the best part of our wedding day for me it was spending time with all our family and friends and celebrating this new chapter of our life. Joe says this is true but spending the after party with In and Out and comfy clothes was just a great as the wedding itself!
